ประวัติภาควิชา

The Department’s aim is to organize the full range of learning and research in the area of synthesis, fabrication, characterization and application of novel materials, especially nanomaterials, which are of interest due to their different properties between microscale and nanoscale size. A new Interdisciplinary field is now applied in Materials Science research that includes applied chemistry and physics:

• Advanced Materials
• Biomaterials
• Functional Polymers and Bioplastic
• Nanomaterials for Renewable Energy and Environment
• Advanced Characterization of Materials

The Department offers internships in the field related to our research area for undergraduate and postgraduate students who are exploring career options or working experiences in Thailand. For international students, the Kasetsart University’s International Studies Center (ISC) provides advice and training to facilitate international students to settle with study environment.
